Andy Transport strengthens leadership with dual executive appointment

The Board of Directors of Andy Transport is proud to announce the appointment of Golan Moryoussef as Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Sales, which became effective January 12, 2015.

Mr. Moryoussef has a Bachelor’s degree from John Molson School of Business, with a major in finance. Prior to his appointment, he held a management position at the Royal Bank of Canada, one of Canada’s largest financial institutions.

Mr. Moryoussef has 14 years of banking experience with extensive knowledge of the commercial mid-market supply chain industry with a specialization in the transportation sector. His entrepreneurial background, vast experience of commercial lending, credit structuring and account relationship management will be valuable assets in his dual executive role.

Mr. Moryoussef will be responsible to lead Andy’s acquisitions and secure financing, implement strategic initiatives, as well as develop new client relationships in order to support growth objectives.

Andy Transport announces its investment strategy for 2015

Andy Transport is committed to maintaining a state-of-the-art modern fleet in order to better serve its clients and partners. This investment emphasizes Andy’s mission to provide safe and efficient transportation solutions.

On January 15, 2015, the management team secured an order for 65 new Volvo trucks, scheduled for delivery over the next nine months. The Volvo VNL 670 model is recognized by the producer as being “the best-selling truck ever. With exceptional fuel efficiency, dependability, and industry-leading safety, this truck is ideally suited for those who are looking for reliable performance on the road and a positive impact on their bottom line. ”

In addition to the above, Andy is expecting delivery of 80 new Manac trailers and 8 flatbeds within the next six months.

Ilie Crisan, Andy Transport’s President, explains: “We started the year at full speed with the acquisition of the new Volvo trucks and Manac trailers.
